Yoga For You

Yoga For You

So, you’ve just had a baby. You’re body has just made this amazing human (or humans!)! It has moved vital organs, expanded ligaments and even grown a new organ to help grow and sustain this new life.

No wonder your body looks different now your baby is in the world! Most mums feel very self conscious after having a baby (as if you don’t have enough on your plate!). And probably achey, pretty achey.

It’s also really hard to find the time to actually start doing any exercise when you have a little one who needs you All. The. TIME!

I absolutely felt like this when we had our girls, and I’m personally still living with hip problems that happened in my second pregnancy. Finding a place I was confident to go to, that I knew would offer safe exercises for my condition was really important to me.

Yoga has a special calming quality that you can’t get from other classes. While you will certainly get your body moving in ways it hasn’t for months, you will also be learning breathing techniques designed to calm your mind. Mums leave the class feeling three inches taller, with a relaxed, satisfied smile on their faces.

While my popular Friday morning Postnatal Yoga class is still running, I am launching a new Thursday afternoon class to help give a bit of flexibility to your schedules.

The first of these classes starts on Thursday the 19th of September in The Stanton Suite in Charlton Kings from 1.30-2.30pm; perfect timing for those of you who have the school run.

I offer a free taster to all parents who would like to see if the class would be suitable.

You can also still pop along to my Friday classes too at 10.45-11.45am.

If you are intrigued by this class and fancy giving it a try, book your taster at www.momoyoga.com/nurture-yoga-wellness or give her a follow on Facebook.
