Maman Goes Pop! Update on events

Good Morning Mamans!

It’s just over three weeks now until Maman Goes Pop! featuring PLAY Cheltenham at the Wilson Cafe!

If you didn’t read my introductory blog you can find out more here.

Planning is hotting up and today I’m pleased to let you know about some of the events taking place during the week.

You can pop in at any point (though Thursday is MumBoss day and the coffee and events area will be closed) and take advantage of some of the free babysitting services, toys and creative play facilities on offer.

The market will be open all week and as I described in my last blog you can expect a myriad of incredible and alternative Christmas shopping options.

But as for the events… well there’s more to follow but here’s what’s available to book now – there is a token price for each of them (we offered them for free last year but found lots of people didn’t show up.)

So here’s what PLAY are offering (all dates and times here and tickets can be booked here – be sure to scroll ahead into November too as the pop up is 30th Oct – 4th November)

Boxheads workshops with Andy and Georgina – tickets just £2.50 to cover materials!

Interactive storytelling with Clara Hambling

On Tuesday Push It Real Good will be walking from Pitville Pump Rooms to the Pop Up! You can either join in with the walk or meet us there and Georgina and Andy have this very special (mess free) workshop just for babies on offer.

Babel Babies are back! Offering classes celebrating music and language – one for babies and one for toddlers.

Ever wanted to try bullet journalling? The Willow Tree will be holding a workshop on this fantastic tool for complete planning, organisation and creativity.

So Thursday at Maman Goes Pop once again is all about the MumBosses and I’m thrilled to let you know the agenda for the day. Babysitters from Kowala will be on hand to entertain the small children (more details on how to book this service to follow.)

At 11am Megan John of Alanbrookes Accountants in Stroud will be giving a talk on business development – how to take your business to the next level from a financial perspective including time for q & a on all things accountancy.

At 12.30 there will be a light lunch and opportunity for informal networking.

At 1.30pm Laura Duggal, Life Coach will deliver an interactive talk on the three Cs – coping with confidence, competition and the unhealthy need to compare.

There will also be an opportunity to shop at the Pop Up market and find out more about the new initiative PLAY!

Tickets are for the lunch and you can attend either or both talks depending on your schedule.

Tickets are half price to subscribed members of the Cheltenham MumBoss club – to find out more and join click here.

Friday we welcome back more musical fun with Caterpillar Music. They’ll be offering two classes for children aged 0 -4.

If adult creativity is your thing then why not book onto our introduction to creativity workshop with Sarah from Felix and Fox?

We end the week with a weekend introduction to hypnobirthing with The Bump to Baby Chapter to make sure all of our Mums to be don’t feel left out!

And last but not least keep your eyes peeled for information on the closing party – a mini rave up for all the family (there will be fizz…….)

So Mamans – time to pop over to Yay for Play and book your tickets – can’t wait to see you all there!
