I’ve just popped out to meet one of the members of the MumBoss Club on her home turf and couldn’t not share this incredible hidden gem with you.
As today’s beautiful light fades into darker nights and colder mornings, if you’re like me, you’ll need something to loo forward to to see you through the long winter.
Despite living in the North Cotswolds I’d never been to Chipping Campden and I can’t believe what I’ve been missing! Such a beautiful long high street with honey coloured Cotswold stone cottages everywhere and enough independent shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants to cater for a weekend away for even the trickiest of customers!
But where to stay?
Well MumBoss Jane has been running Campden Yurts on the site of her family home for two years now and I was really blown away by quite what a home from home she’s built!
She has two yurts that can be booked together or separately (Daisy and Buttercup). They each sleep six (and could accommodate a travel cot aswell I’m sure) in a stand alone double bed and two double futons. They each have their own wood burning stove, kettle, gas cooker and individual shower rooms with toilets.
They also have an amazing pizza oven and if guests choose to Jane can prepare dough and help you create your own pizzas and the cook them in the clay oven.
I’ll let these images do the talking but I was really really impressed with the setup and bookings are now being taken for 2019. Think big birthday celebrations, hen dos, girly trips, multi family vacays or grown up out of season escapes. The possibilities are endless.
