How to Organise Your Entire Life
You know that feeling when you are running around trying to do about a million jobs and not doing any of them that well. You have this massive to do list which seems to grow by the second, you don’t feel in control and know you could be far more effective if you could. just. find. a minute.
The one thing I think most of us as mothers crave is time.
So how about setting yourself up with some better systems to manage your time and get organised? How about starting a fresh and organising your entire life so that you have more time for the stuff that actually matters.
In this workshop (led by the marvellous Helen of Manchester based Guilty Mothers Club) we’ll be talking about:
– Taking back control of your time
This is not about squeezing yet more in but actually allowing yourself to slow down and focus on the right things. We’ll be looking at where your time is spent currently and what changes you can make to feel more aligned.
– The mother of all organisation systems
Oh yes this is what organisation dreams are made of. Well it is for any of us who have been found making a world book day costume the night before for the second year running.
We’ll do an introduction to the bullet journal (my all time planning heroine) plus I’ll be sharing the ultimate family planning system (not that kind of family planning I must add) that will transform your life.
– Getting the right sh*t done
Once you’re all set up on the organisation front how do you use your time really effectively? A ton of top tips around being exceptionally productive and streamlining the elements of your life that don’t deserve your attention.
You will need to bring with you a notepad to write any ideas down plus if you haven’t started bullet journaling and want to give it a go I will talk through the process so bring a nice blank notebook ready (I don’t recommend starting in your all time gorgeous version whilst you are testing out what works for you).
Get ready to create a slick, productive, fully in control system for organising your entire life!

Game Changers is a unique inspirational development programme for Mothers who know they want to do something new or different but don’t know where to start. For mothers who are fed up with work that doesn’t fit around family life, who want more creativity, more flexibility, to do a job they love.
Previous attendees have gone on to start their own businesses, change careers entirely, begin new projects that set their hearts on fire or re-work their current career so that it does all fit together. You can read more about the full 6 week programme here.
This is a mini taster version of the full thing. A full two hours to focus on YOU, your ideas and what could be possible alongside meeting other mums who are in a similar position to build up support and inspiration.
In this workshop (led by the marvellous Helen of Manchester based Guilty Mothers Club) we’ll be covering:
- Rediscovering you – what makes your heart sing?
- Daring to dream – where do you want to be?
- Brainstorming ideas and sharing experiences
- How you can get started RIGHT NOW on making things happen

Having had a 10 year career in HR, namely corporate leadership and management development I have designed and delivered training programmes to hundreds of women in the past but after having my first baby 6 years ago suddenly felt first hand the challenges with returning to work. My priorities had changed, I had fundamentally changed and as well as facing maternity discrimination I also realised that I didn’t want to keep working for something and someone I didn’t truly believe in.
I completed my own Game Change just over 2 years ago delivering workshops to empower mothers in taking control of their return to work after maternity leave. This progressed into Guilty Mothers Club – inspiring women to rediscover their mojo and create a life that works. I believe passionately that it can and should be possible for women to combine a family with work they love and that the more women who are fulfilling their true potential the better place the world will be.
I now run my business part time, have 3 little ones under 6 and live in Manchester. We are about to complete a kind of second Game Change as my husband is taking a career break to do childcare allowing me to keep growing my business. I’m a total organisation and bullet journal addict, huge advocate of slowing down and major believer that as mothers we need to invest in ourselves more and ditch the guilt!
