2017 has been a huge year for CheltenhamMaman and I am over the moon to announce that it will be ending with an event to top all events for the parents in Gloucestershire.
We’re teaming up with the incredible local charity that is Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice to hold a glitzy, black tie awards ceremony to celebrate the best businesses and individuals who strive to make life better, fuller and easier for the families in our beautiful county.
On the 17th November nominees and their friends and family as well as the general public will be invited to Stonehouse Court Hotel for a champagne reception, awards ceremony, three course meal and after party and the most exciting thing about it is that every penny of profit will go to Sue Ryder, a truly wonderful local charity that provide end of life care for Gloucestershire residents and support for their families.
Before we announce booking details of the event we need your help to decide who should be in with a chance of winning one of eight coveted awards at the Gloucestershire Family Awards 2017 presented by Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court and CheltenhamMaman
There are eight categories and you are all invited to nominate a business, sole trader or individual who you think is doing great things for mums, dads, children, grandparents and family units generally in Gloucestershire. We are looking for independent businesses, community champions and people who are slaving away on projects, events, classes or venues to make our lives better, fuller and easier.
You can nominate anyone you like between now and the 10th September. The only rules are no big business chains and all nominations must be mainly based in Gloucestershire.
On the 15th September nominees will be notified and the public will be invited to vote for them over the following two weeks with voting closing on the 1st October. The votes will be counted and the five nominees with the most votes in each category will be shortlisted for the award. At this stage ticketing will open for the award ceremony and the excitement will really begin!
The final winners will be chosen by a panel of specially selected local figure heads at Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court the week before the awards ceremony. Awards will be announced at the black tie dinner on Friday the 17th November at Stonehouse Court Hotel. Winners will receive a trophy, certificate and a digital badge to add to their websites and the winner of the final category will also receive an overnight stay and dinner for two at Ellenborough Park.

We want to celebrate these organisations and need your help in finding out who they are.

2. Gloucestershire’s Most Family Friendly Independent Retailer.
