It’s podcast day folks! Today we welcome a lady with an infectious passion for all things words, languages, books and the printed word.
Cate Hamilton is a mum of three and entrepreneur with not one, but three businesses (one of which I am lucky enough to share with her – The Window Magazine.)
Cate teaches families to learn modern languages together in Babel Babies music and language classes and is working on a movement that will see all generations learning languages together in a social setting; The Language Revolution.
In today’s episode we discuss language, grammar and why it matters, curating and creating content for a magazine and why the way we have traditionally learned languages in this country is ALL wrong. If you’re a teacher you’ll also really appreciate this episode as we salute you guys as the forgotten heroes of this country. We also gallop through the standard good mum bad mum questions.
You can follow Babel Babies on Instagram and Facebook, The Language Revolution is also on Instagram and Facebook (and the etsy page I’ve linked above will showcase the amazing slogan tees that Cate refers to and will be on sale alongside new babygros at Maman Goes Pop!) If you want to find out more about Cate as an entrepreneur you can also follow her umbrella Instagram Account.
You can also book on Cate’s up and coming bullet journalling workshop at Maman Goes Pop! – see – I told you she was busy!
Hope you enjoy! Thanks for sharing the podcast love! Don’t forget to pre-order your copy of The Window Magazine soon!
