A Tempting Offer for the Pregnant Mamans

A Tempting Offer for the Pregnant Mamans

So you are pregnant, it may be your first baby… or your second. Either way as your busy life continues with long working days, lonesome commutes or tiresome toddlers and you are in need of some precious time with your other half. Some time away. Somewhere that’s a bit fancy, cosy for these Autumn evenings, with some nice food and restful scenery.  You may live in The Cotswolds and love where you live or you may live further afield and know that The Cotswolds is a place where you’d love to visit for it’s incredible countryside, honey coloured villages, outstanding beauty and royal connections.

If this is your first baby you may be thinking that meeting some other pregnant couples would be ideal, another couple who is at the same point in their life as you are. Couples who share similar interests and friends who you can share experiences of parenthood with. They say lifelong friends are made during pregnancy.

You also would like to know about birth. What to expect, what are your choices and what you can do together as a couple to make the most out of this life changing experience. You’ve heard about Hypnobirthing and how it can make a massive difference in both women’s and men’s perspectives of birth, reduce the need for analgesia and also reduce the need for any interventions. You think it’s something you and your husband would be on board for.

Does this sound like you?

Being mothers and midwives at The Bump to Baby Chapter, we have created what we think is THE most perfect way to do antenatal classes as it incorporates both knowledge, coping strategies for a positive birth, but also gives the most idealistic set up for some much needed couple time.

We have chosen The Fish Hotel for this weekend for being stylish, cosy and for its immense views. The Fish Hotel sits on a hill in the heart of the 400- acre Farncombe Estate. It’s a landscape perfect for picnicking, for sunrise jogs and sunset strolls, and although it can feel blissfully set apart from the bustle of everyday life, it’s within remarkably easy reach of many of the Cotswolds’ biggest highlights.

During this course we will cover Hypnobirthing:

  • Breathing techniques
  • Deep relaxation
  • Tips for a positive birth
  • Birth affirmations
  • Understanding hormones and the body and how it is built to give birth
  • Understanding the mind and how your mind plays a role in your birth experience

Also antenatal education:

  • Stages of labour
  • Cesarean birth
  • Induction of labour
  • Post natal care
  • Newborn care

The date for this course is November 4th and November 5th with a 10am start. We will aim to finish between 4 and 5 pm to give you evenings to enjoy the setting of The Fish Hotel or to enjoy an evening in The Cotswolds.

If you would like to be part of The Cotswold Antenatal and Hypnobirthing Weekend then you can send us an email at thebumptobabychapter@gmail.com or book online here. Remember to use your CheltenhamMaman code with voucher code “Maman50′

Note: An overnight stay is not included in the price. If you would like to make this into an overnight weekend to remember then message us and we will put you in touch with The Fish Hotel for your discounted rate.
